It seems it is the season for strange events at WDW's Haunted Mansion. Here's the story of our recent event!

We live in Florida, so we go to WDW and the other parks quite a bit (we estimate we've been on Haunted Mansion about 60 times in the past 9 months.) But I'm not a believer in ghost stories or anything, I just like HM because it has the best atmosphere and creativity of any Disney attraction ever! (In my opinion, anyway.) I've been to HM at night, during the day, you name it. Other than some pretty strange cast members who take their roles VERY seriously (!!!) I've never seen anything out of the ordinary go on.

The other day I brought my new camera, a Nikon N60 35mm, and decided to finally take some pictures of the outside of the HM. The setup was simple: the camera was set to full auto (medium zoom, no flash --- it was bright daylight out --- auto exposure and auto focus.) We just snapped a few pics and went on our way. We saw nothing at the time to indicate anything was weird.

We had the pics developed at a local Walgreens. When we opened the pack, the first few were harmless enough until we saw something VERY strange on the last exterior pic of the HM, taken from the queue, pointed at the solarium section of the house. There is a very obvious shape in the foreground, almost as if it wants one's attention! All I can say is that it was most definitely NOT there when I took the shot. Given that I had about 100 people around me on line, and it was broad daylight, I think you can take my word for it, otherwise everyone would be talking about it. Check it out, and let me know what you think. I, for one, am dumbfounded.
