Here's the story of JASON BURSON
Who found an axe buried on his person.

I just stumbled upon your site, and I must say that it is a wonderful Haunted Mansion resource with great pictures. I read your story about the dinner and hated to hear what happened to you. It is definitely most unlike the experience you would expect for paying such a premium fee. I was going to try to attend the 999 Happy Haunts myself this past year, but was told that it had been discontinued. When I tried to ask why,I was not given a definite answer, only something about a possible Pirates of the Caribbean celebration this summer to correspond with the release of the sequel. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for your website. .

Just wanted to send a quick note to thank you for all your hard work and information about the HM. I've taken an extreme interest lately in the mansion (other than my usual obsession), because I'm currently re-creating the entire ride in 3-D. It will be probably a few years in the making but I think it is so worth it. Imagine being able to "ride" anytime you want to.

Just wanted to write and let you know how much I enjoyed
looking at your website. I got a lot out of it and enjoyed seeing all
of the behind the scenes photos. You captured a whole heck of a lot of
details from the Haunted Mansion, which I know a lot of people really
enjoyed! Great job and keep up the good work!

I LOVE your site. I went to Disney once when I was a

honeymoon and plan on riding it the first night we're there. Thanks to
your pictures, I'll have lots a details to look for that I missed when
I was eight. Thanks again for such a great site! Bobbi

I really enjoyed your Haunted Mansion site, but I noticed
you left out one important detail about the mansion. The building (exterior)
contains numerous chess pieces. The pawns are on each side of the left
and right window triangle, the bishops are on the top of those triangles.
The rooks are on the top right highest point (over the greenhouse) and
there are no knights. I haven't found the king and queen yet, but I'm
told they are there.
Just thought I'd mention it.
(We're
working on covering this, Lou, as soon as we get good shots of each chesspiece.---HMdotInfo)

Hi! Your site is an immense and impressive piece of work
that has shown me a lot of what I do not hesitate to call the greatest
dark ride in the world. Having had the luxury of taking several behind-the-scenes
tour of Phantom Manor (my favourite attraction ever), this site is doubly
interesting because I can learn the differences and liknesses of the two
attractions. I only hope I can come to see the HM for real one day! :-)
Thanx and happy haunting!

I just wanted to congratulate you on your extremely detailed
and articulate website. It took me about two hours to completely view
the site in one sitting. I can only count on one hand how many sites are
capable of holding my attention for that long. For many years I have been
fascinated with this Disney attraction and "Haunted Attractions"
alike. It was very educational and highly entertaining. I cannot say enough
good things about it. Thank you

it! These pictures on here give me an awesome idea of what its like! GREAT
SITE !!!!!!

our site CARRIE flaunted

Last Words:
I've just been perusing your incredible site, and have
to say it's one of the best I've seen. I truly thought I knew "it
all" when it came to the Mansion, but you proved me wrong : )
Regarding the photo of the "orb" by the tree you have posted,
when was it taken? I ask only because I was there the middle of July last
year and noticed some unusual things while riding. Like you, I live in
Florida and go to Disney a few times a year, at least. I experienced something
that was definitely different, a combination of a feeling of "someone
extra being there" and a couple of visual things, as well (things
I know for sure are not part of the attraction). Unfortunately I did not
take any photos on the ride (I was too in awe to think about reaching
for my camera!). I'm a skeptic when it comes to ghosts, etc, but my experience
may have made me a believer. Anyway, hope you'll have a chance to write.
Again, great work on your site!!!

The site is wonderful...growing up in (extremely) Southern

I just wanted to say that I love your site, it's grand.
I too love these
dark disney attractions that you have interior photos of. It's nice to
have web sites like yours because, as you know, it is too expensive to
go to WDW very often. This provides the next to best thing to actually
being there.

Hello, hello! As a long-time veteran of WDW (we are the
same age) I have enjoyed the Mansion since babyhood. I have seen it go
from really scary to so-so scary, and have always marvelled in its special
effects. So much, in fact, that I have squinted and stared at everything
in the Mansion, riding it dozens of times, without much success in seeing
all the little tiny details. Your site is a dream come true. What a brilliant
way to enjoy a work of art such as the HM a step further. Excellent job.

in the MK. Just a quick question. Why don't you add some info on the real
life history of the Mansion, such as the significance of the names on
the gravestones as you enter the Mansion, or the red rose placed at Master
Gracey's grave. Also, I find it interesting that the building has chess
pieces on the roof. Something I never noticed until my last trip when
I did the Keys to the Kingdom tour."

be good. Keep up the great work. I always look forward to seeing what
